2nd day back to work

i'm back in melb again... after only 2 weeks home. :(
so sad and reluctant to come back here.
miss home now...
but wat to do? can only 'blame' myself for applying this summer job.

and guess wat?
today, i talked most among the 2 weeks of my working life in PeterMac , well, conversation with the other summer student in the same lab doesn't count lar.
coz today, met 3 new ppl. they're not new in the lab but they are new to me.
the first person is the girl who works part time as a research assistant in the same lab i'm working in,
the 2nd person is a taiwanese guy (but he can't really speak mandarin) who is a RA in another lab,
the 3rd person is a girl who is also working as an RA in a cancer immunology lab whom I met during lunch time in the tea room up stairs. :)
among this 3 person, the last 2 was biomed student from melb uni. after honours, they've been working in Peter Mac for like 2 or 3 years. one of them is planning to move on to do PhD.
so here i thought.... what am I going to do after my hons? be an RA like them for the rest of my life? or do a PhD after working a few years as an RA? or do a PhD straight after my hons? seems like those are the only 3 possibilities so far. and they all depends on whether i can get a scholarship to do PhD or not, and also if i like doing it.

and today, learned some new stuff in the lab. :) but i'm still dealing with flies >.<

on my way home from work, got SheeChien's sms, so went to her place for dinner. :)
yummy! they cooked crab, pineapple fried rice, chicken salad with a peanut dressing, stirfried broccolli with beaf, and for dessert - black glutinous rice with mango! :P

so... working life is like this can be very boring.
wake up at 7.30am,
9am - 5pm work,
go home for dinner, maybe hang around in the city for awhile before going home?
online, msn, check emails,
watch drama series or watever,
sleep before 12pm.
the cycle just goes round and round for 5 days in a week.

so... those who are still studying in uni, u better enjoy ur uni life as much as you can!
